Chief Mates SQA Revision Course
- Courses commence: 10th August & 12th October 2020
- Length: 6 weeks
- £750 (£400 for a single subject)
- Monday to Thursday: 4 to 5 hours of tuition a day
- Friday: Tutorial sessions as required
Designed for students who have completed their HND/DipHE Course, but require additional support for the two externally-examined SQA Examinations. Students will benefit from SQA-specific tuition designed to improve their examination confidence and chances of success.
What to expect on course
Two daily sessions which combine theory with worked SQA questions which have been carefully selected to cover a wide range of underpinning knowledge and to give you the skills necessary to solve them.

- Courses commence: 23rd November 2020
- Length: 4 weeks
- Fee: £550 (Includes subject notes and SQA publications)
- Monday to Friday: 4 to 5 hours of tuition a day
- Tutorials as required
Designed to support students prior to attending a Chief Mates Course in the UK. Enrolling onto this course will improve your future navigation and stability examination success by refreshing your OOW skills as well as by getting a head start on the core components of your Chief Mates navigation and stability material.
What to expect on course
Two sessions a day, each will include a combination of lecturing and worked exercises. Students are actively encouraged to ask questions throughout and contribute with their own experiences and opinions. Advice and guidance on effective use of study techniques is interspersed throughout the course so that you learn not just how to absorb new skills and knowledge but importantly, how to retrieve and apply it in an academic environment.
